Stainless Steel Wire Mesh
Information
Our stainless steel wire mesh products are generally made of stainless steel Type 302,304,304L,gabions,316,316L,拦河坝,321 and 430 etc. We produce wire cloth in all kinds of forms. The weaving is determined according to our customers’ specific requirements, such as the material, the wire diameter, the size of the mesh ,Stone Cage Barbed Wire, width and length.
Plain weave: Each weft wire passes over one and under one warp wire, and each warp wire passes over one and under one weft wire, every weft wire have and warp wire the same diameter.
Characteristics: square aperture ,Welded Gabion Box Chain Wire,Chain Fence, high flow through , relative high open area, as result less pressure drop during filtration suitable for all kinds of filtration up to 63 µm.
Characteristics: ”zero”—aperture, more solid than square or rectangular mesh, relative high open area, hesco bastion Metal Etching, suitable for all kinds of filtration.
Twill weave: Each weft wire passes over two and under two warp wires, and each warp wire passes over and under two weft wires. The wire diameter for both(warp and weft)is mostly the same.
Characteristics: square aperture, less rigid than plain weave, especially suitable for deforming, strong wire cloth due to ratio of wire diameter and aperture, it is mostly used for filtration less than 63 μm .
Dutch twilled weave: Each warp wire and each weft wire passes over and under the next two adjacent complementary wires, as in a normal Twill Weave, except the warp wires are larger in diameter than the weft wires. This allows a greater mesh count in the weft direction. This weave pattern enables the weft wires to be woven more densely, and much smaller aperture sizes can be achieved without forsaking cloth thickness.
Characteristics: ”zero” aperture, light-proof woven, high resistance due to tight wire position, extreme low absolute grade of fineness(down to 5-6μm),high filtration performance in case of low viscose medium, it is the finest filtration in hydraulic systems, especially for critical applications as aero-space, fuel-and combustion.

Military Barriers/Hesco Bastions
Information
Originally designed for use on beaches and marshes for erosion and flood control, the Hesco Bastion quickly became a popular security device in the 1990s.
The QIAOSHI's Military Barriers or Hesco Bastions is a modern gabion used for flood control and military fortification. It is made of a collapsible wire mesh container and heavy duty fabric liner, and used as a temporary to semi-permanent dike or barrier against blast or small-arms. One of the less heralded life- and labor-saving devices of war, it is used on nearly every United States Military base in Iraq as well as on NATO bases in Afghanistan.

The Reno mattress is a structure made of hexagonal double twisted wire mesh. Reno mattresses are filled with stones at the project site to form flexible and permeable, monolithic structures such as river bank protection and channel linings for erosion control. The steel wire used to manufacture the mattress is heavily zinc-coated soft temper steel. The standard combinations of mesh is shown in Table. In order to reinforce the structure, all mesh panel edges are selvedged with a wire having a greater diameter. Reno mattresses are divided into uniformly partitioned cells by internal diaphragms.

Gabion are baskets manufactured from 8x10 double twisted hexagonal woven steel wire mesh, fence post--Wire Mesh, fence post, as per ASTM A975-97 Gabions are filled with stones at the project site to form flexible, permeable, monolithic structures such as retaining walls, waratah fence post--Wire Mesh,拦河坝, channel linings, and weirs for erosion control projects. The steel wire used in the manufacture of the gabion is heavily Galfan (zinc-5% aluminum-mischmetal [Zn-5 Al-MM] alloy) coated soft temper steel. A PVC coating is then applied to provide additional protection for use in polluted,石笼网, contaminated or aggressive environments: in salt, fresh water, acid soil or wherever the risk of corrosion is present. The PVC coating has a nominal thickness of 0.02 in. (0.50 mm). The gabion is divided into cells by diaphragms positioned at approximately 3 ft (0.9m) centers. To reinforce the structure, all mesh panel edges are selvedged with a wire having a greater diameter. Gabions shall be manufactured and shipped with all components mechanically connected at the production facility.

Barbed wire became common in the American West in the 1870s[citation needed] and in World War I first found wide use in fortifications.[citation needed]
Barbed tape is also characterized by the shape of the barbs. Although there are no formal definitions, typically short barb barbed tape has barbs from 10 mm to 15 mm long, medium barb tape has barbs 20 mm to 25 mm long, and long barb tape has barbs from 60 to 66 mm long. There does not seem to be much available research to indicate whether longer barbs are actually more effective in resisting penetration, but they provide a stronger psychological deterrent.
Due to its dangerous nature, razor wire/barbed tape and similar fencing/barrier materials is prohibited in some locales. Norway prohibits any barbed wire except in combination with other fencing, in order to protect domesticated animals from exposure.[1] Some local jurisdictions further regulate or prohibit barbed wire altogether.[citation needed]

Razor-wire has a central strand of high tensile strength wire, and a steel tape punched into a shape with barbs. The steel tape is then cold-crimped tightly to the wire everywhere except for the barbs. Barbed tape is very similar, but has no central reinforcement wire. The process of combining the core wire with the steel tape was invented by the current owner of Razor Wire International, Renne Cano.[citation needed] The process of combining the two is called roll forming.
Starting in the late 1960s, barbed tape was typically found in prisons and long-term mental hospitals, where the increased breaching time for a poorly equipped potential escapee was a definite advantage. Until the development of reinforced barbed tape in the early 1980s, it was rarely used for military purposes or genuine high security facilities because,t post-Company List Heber City Water Department - Hesco Services, Inc.-Hesco Barrier, gabion box, with the correct tools, it was easier to breach than barbed wire. Since then some military forces have replaced barbed wire with barbed tape for many applications, mainly because it is slightly lighter for the same effective coverage and it takes up very little space compared to barbed wire or reinforced barbed tape when stored on drums.
Like barbed wire, barbed tape is available as either straight wire or concertina wire. Unlike barbed wire, which usually is available only as plain steel or galvanized, barbed tape is also manufactured in stainless steel, to prevent the points from rusting to bluntness. Typically the core wire is galvanized and the tape is stainless, although fully stainless barbed tape is used for expensive permanent installations or under water.
[edit] Construction
Barbed tape or razor wire is a mesh of metal strips with sharp edges whose purpose is to prevent passage by humans. The term "Razor Wire," through long usage, has generally been used to describe barbed tape products. While razor wire is much sharper than the standard barbed wire, it is not actually razor sharp. Even so,石笼网, the multiple blades of a razor wire fence are designed to inflict serious cuts on anyone attempting to climb through and therefore have a strong psychological deterrent effect. In many high-security applications, fence post, barbed tape supplanted barbed wire, which could be circumvented relatively quickly by humans without tools, while penetrating razor wire barriers without tools is very slow and difficult, giving security forces more time to respond.[citation needed] There is little difference in the breaching time for a well-equipped opponent.[citation needed]

More recently barbed tape has been used in more commercial and residential security applications. This is often primarily a visual deterrent since a well prepared burglar can breach barbed wire and barbed tape barriers in similar amounts of time,Gabion box with pvc coated-Gabions Gabion Baskets, Gabion Fence, Gabion Wall, Gabion Basket Suppli,Stone Cage, using simple techniques such as cutting the wire or throwing a piece of old carpet over its strands. Residential usage of barbed tape has been criticized by some as the aggressive appearance of the barbs is thought to detract from the appearance of a neighborhood.[citation needed]

Wire entanglement [edit] References Since ancient times Since Middle Ages Since Early modern period Since 19th century Since 20th century
Barbed tape was first manufactured by Germany during World War I,[citation needed] as an expedient measure during a shortage of wire. Since it was simply punched out of a rolled ribbon of steel tape, it could be manufactured much more quickly. This early barbed tape had triangular barbs and no reinforcing wire; consequently, it was more difficult to cut with ordinary wire cutters, easier to cut with shears,Welded Gabion Box-select Materials-Hesco Barrier, and was generally of lower tensile strength.

From the early 1970s, unreinforced barbed tape was commonly used in perimeter barriers of US prisons. In the early 1980s, several manufacturers began offering barbed tape with an embedded reinforcing wire and the product has been the subject to a patent dispute.[citation needed] Early brand names of reinforced barbed tape included "Man Barrier" and "Razor Ribbon". The latter probably lent its name to the modern slang term.
